Introduction to the main structure of CNC spring machine

When it comes to CNC spring machines, we may not be very familiar with them. However, more and more CNC spring machines are also starting to appear on the market now. The CNC spring machine can be divided into five parts: straightening mechanism, feeding mechanism, variable diameter mechanism, pitch control mechanism, and cutting mechanism. Let's take a closer look below.

1、 Straightening organization:

The position of the straightening mechanism is between the material rack and the feeding roller. It consists of two sets of straightening rollers. The purpose of the straightening system is to eliminate the original bending deformation of the steel wire. After straightening, it can enter the forming machine straight to improve the accuracy of the coil spring.

2、 Feeding mechanism:

The feeding mechanism is a device that uses one or two pairs of feeding wheels to press the steel wire tightly, and drives the steel wire to move forward in a straight line through the rotation of the feeding wheels. The gear on the feeding wheel shaft is driven by a fan-shaped incomplete gear, with the upper and lower rollers rotating at the same speed but in opposite directions. The feeding wheel rotates once, and the feeding length is the circumference of the feeding wheel. The unfolded length of the spring can be determined by the number of rotations of the feeding wheel. The number of teeth of the incomplete gear in the sector controls the number of rotations of the feeding wheel (refer to the coefficient table for details).

3、 Variable diameter mechanism:

The variable diameter mechanism refers to the control mechanism for the outer diameter of the spring when winding it, which is composed of two top rods and a variable diameter cam that drives the top rod. When producing cylindrical springs, the spring wire remains unchanged. Adjust the two top rods to the corresponding positions to meet the outer diameter dimensions of the spring, and then fix the positions of the two top rods unchanged. When producing variable diameter springs, the front and rear bolts of the middle convex, truncated cone shaped springs, and upper top bar are loosened, allowing the top bar to stretch back and forth in the tool holder to change the outer diameter of the spring. The variable diameter cam drives the top bar to achieve the purpose of producing various variable diameter springs.

4、 Pitch change organization:

The pitch change mechanism is a mechanism that controls the spring pitch. This machine has two types of mechanisms: (1), consisting of a pitch knife and a pitch cam. The variable cam is used to control the effective number of turns of the spring. The bolt below the pitch knife adjusts the height of the spring (2), and the cam drives the connecting rod to push the pitch knife out of the machine, better estimating the spring with larger pitch.

5、 Cutting mechanism:

The cutting mechanism is the last machining action of the spring after the steel wire is wound and formed, and the cutting is completed through the knife and core.
